Marriages to construct an empire

In a great empire as Macedonia, the marriages for political reasones were normal. Filipo, who's the father of "Alexandre el Gran", contracted seven matrimonial links to establish aliances with the territories about the empire as Epiro, wherefrom the mother of Alexandre, up to Tracia. After rising to the throne, Alexandre also used the marriages to consolidate his power in regions separated as Bactria, or o be the successor of dynasties who demolished, as his marriage in Susa with the daughter of Darío, Estatira.
